Armour provides protection to characters during combat. It can be equipped on the head and chest.

Armour can be found as loot, on the over-world map, from completing quests, by crafting while camping, or by paying a smith to craft it for you.

Armour ModifiersEdit

Melee ProtectionEdit

The amount that melee damage is reduced by during combat

Ranged ProtectionEdit

The amount that ranged damage is reduced by during combat

Movement PenaltyEdit

The penalty that equipping armour gives to the wearer during combat

Special and Unique EffectsEdit

These modify the wearer's stats, skills and morale, or can modify damage during combat.

Those are for helmets:

  • Cursed = -1 morale
  • Focusing = +5 mental resistance
  • Lucky = +1 morale
  • Robust = +5 melee damage resistance
  • Strengthening = +10 hit points 
  • Thick = +5 ranged damage resistance
  • Unbreakable = can't be damaged

Those are for armour:

  • Agile = +1 movement
  • Cursed = -1 morale
  • Lucky = +1 morale 
  • Robust = +5 melee damage resistance 
  • Strengthening = +10 hit points
  • Thick = +5 ranged damage resistance 
  • Unbreakable = can't be damaged
  • Vigilant = +25 to avoid crit

DurabilityEdit

Durability lower than 100% will decrease the amount of damage protected during combat. Durability on Armour increases per Hide used while crafting, the same pattern Statistics <=> Hides is used for found Armour.

Chest ArmourEdit

When Crafting Chest Armour one is able to apply Armor schematics wich are randomly found in lootable objects or as quest rewards. Those schematics include:

Armor Oil (+1 Movement), Armor Webbing (+1 Utility Slot), Hardened Leather (Fire Resistance), Armor Padding (Poison Resistance) and Armour Balm (+5 HP Regeneration per Turn)

Cloth Armor: Hides to craft: 2 - 20 Movement penalty: 0 Armor schematics required: 1

Hide Armor: Hides to craft: 21 - 40 Movement penalty: -1 Armor schematics required: 2

Lamellar Armor: Hides craft: 41-60 Movement penalty: -2 Armor schematics required: 3

Chain Mail: Hides to craft: 61-80 Movement penalty: -3 Armor schematics required: 4

Statistics:

Melee Damage Reduction: 1%-40% Ranged Damage Reduction: 1%-40%

HelmetsEdit

Fur Helmet Hides to craft: 3 (minimum) - 7 (maximum) Accuracy penalty: 0%

Leather Helmet: Hides: 8 (minimum)- 13 (maximum) Accuracy penalty: 0%

Steel Cap Helmet: Hides: 14 (minimum) - 19 (maximum) Accuracy penalty: 5%

Aventailed Helmet: Hides: 20 (minimum) - 25 (maximum) Accuracy penalty: 10%

Masked Helmet: Hides: 26 (minimum) - 30 (maximum) Accuracy penalty: 20%

Statistics:

Melee Damage Reduction: 1%-10% Ranged Damage Reduction: 1%-10% Mental resistance: 1%-10%

Whereas 1%= 1 Hide
